AAR Healthcare Kenya Revolutionizes Healthcare Landscape with State-of-the-Art Clinic in Mombasa County

What happened:

On July 18, 2023, we celebrated the official grand opening of the AAR Healthcare Bamburi Clinic. This new medical facility marks a significant milestone in improving healthcare services and setting higher standards of excellence in the Coast region.

The Bamburi Medical Centre is our second medical center in the county, following the success of the Mombasa Medical Centre.

Why does it matter?

The Mombasa Medical Centre, established in 2000, plays a crucial role in providing medical care to a significant number of patients daily. With an average of 50 patients seen each day, the clinic serves a diverse population, with males comprising 60%, females 35%, and children 5% of the patient demographics. The clinic primarily focuses on treating cardiovascular and upper respiratory diseases, and it also offers specialized dental services as part of our comprehensive healthcare approach.

The mission of the Bamburi Medical Centre is to build on this foundation by specializing in gynecology and pediatric care, ensuring a wider range of specialized medical attention for our patients

The official launch was led by Dr. Saumu Wayuwa, Head of Specialists for Mombasa County, Ms. Elizabeth Wasunna, General Manager at AAR Hospital Medical Centres, and Dr. Joyce Sitonik, Head of Clinical Operations at AAR Hospital Medical Centres

Dr. Saumu Wayuwa, Head of Specialists for Mombasa County commended AAR Medical Centres on embracing the County's mission of accessible healthcare while working to create a progressive, responsive, and sustainable health care system.
