AAR Healthcare is currently one of the largest providers of outpatient healthcare services in East Africa, with a network of 21 clinics across the country and serving over 300,000 clients annually from across the social divide. At AAR Healthcare, we employ experienced medical and management staff, and use internationally approved disease management protocols and drug formulary supported by the state of the art information technology systems to provide consistent treatment for our clients from anywhere in East Africa.

We differ significantly from other providers in the region, not only because of our comprehensive value chain, which can successfully treat those who are unwell, but because we have a strong focus on clinical risk management and provision of preventive care. Our History

AAR Group is marking 33 years in Kenya since its inception in 1984 and with it is the satisfaction of a dream-lived-on as envisioned by its founders. AAR has a long, robust history and its services were accident and medical evacuation by road and air within the country. AAR has grown and offers a diverse portfolio of services and in line with this, company’s name has changed more than once, but has always retained its values of quality, innovation and excellence.

Regulatory Compliance

II Waste Disposal: AAR has contracted the services of a NEMA licensed Medical Waste Disposal Provider for disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with NEMA’s laws and regulations. AAR is keen in protecting people and the environment from the risks associated with biohazards. AAR has put in place guidelines to decrease the threat of exposure of contaminants and disease, safeguarding both the clients and staff working in our centers.

Our Clinic Designs & Layout

Our clinics are designed with the patient’s needs in mind;

  • All our clinics are located in premises where adequate ventilation, clean and safe water and sanitary facilities are readily available.
  • All consultation rooms are fitted with hand washing sinks to avoid cross infections.
  • Computers in the consultation rooms are well positioned to maintain one-on-one dialogue with our patients whilst referring to the computer data/files when necessary.
  • The rooms are sized to accommodate easy wheelchair access.
  • The room layout is to provide “staff” and “patient” zones to afford patient privacy.
